5 June 2025 · put on the ballot by shareholder · Pay equity & inclusion

Should Netflix strengthen its rules against discrimination and harassment?

Shareholders asked the company to amend its code of conduct, or report on its record, so that protections against discrimination and harassment are explicit and enforceable rather than aspirational.

“Stockholder proposal entitled, "Amend the Code of Ethics to enhance policies on non-discrimination, anti-harassment, and whistleblower protection," if properly presented at the meeting.”

Should Netflix disclose what it finances, not just what it emits?

Shareholders asked the company to disclose the emissions attached to its lending, underwriting or energy mix — the ratio of clean to fossil financing, or an assessment of its clients’ own transition plans — rather than reporting only the emissions of its own offices.

“Stockholder proposal entitled, "Issue a Climate Transition Plan," if properly presented at the meeting.”
